1st Intl’ Quran contest of holy shrines kicks off in Karbala

The first edition of an international Quran competition for representatives of holy shrines started in Karbala.

Organized by the Dar-ol-Quran Center affiliated to the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine, the competition started on July 23 at Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine.

The opening ceremony of the competition was held with senior clerics, religious authorities, and competitors.
