Ashura processions helds in Iraq

Most of the people in Karbala are Shia, and every year they hold Ashura mourning rituals to commemorate Imam Hussain’s (AS) martyrdom.

People in the Khanaqin district come out in groups to commemorate Imam Hussain’s (AS) martyrdom on Thuesday, reciting elegies and performing Muharram mourning rituals.
