French Train Staff Strike

Workers of France’s national state-owned railway company SNCF went on strike on Wednesday, disrupting train travel in France. The unions are demanding negotiations over salaries.

The strikes will mean cancellations of around a quarter of France’s high-speed TGV trains. People preparing to travel will be affected.
