Growing disquiet in EU over impact of sanctions against Russia

EU foreign affairs ministers held their last scheduled meeting on Monday before taking a six week summer break. Of course, proceedings were dominated by the war in Ukraine.

Josep Borrell has doubled down on criticism of sanctions against Russia and their impact on EU citizens. He has even written a blog on the subject. It’s reported he’s doing this because of growing disquiet amongst EU leaders regarding the harm sanctions are causing.
