Iran, Afghanistan Paving Way for Reciprocal Trade

Iranian and Afghan officials held talks in Afghanistan’s Khost province to pave the ground for enhanced trade by the two neighboring countries’ businesspersons.

An Iranian delegation traveled to Khost province in Eastern Afghanistan for talks with Afghan officials to step up trade ties between the two neighbors.

The delegation, headed by Iran’s deputy ambassador to Afghanistan Hassan Mortazavi was invited by the Governor of Khost Mohammad Nabi Omari to help pave the way for the presence of Iranian businesspersons in the country.
