Iran Supports Constructive Cooperation between Syria, OPCW

Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani, has said through a statement that Tehran supports “dialogue and constructive cooperation” between Syria and the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW).

“Iran supports the resolution of the open issues in its own technical track in the OPCW through dialogue and constructive cooperation between Syria and the OPCW,” Iravani said at the UN Security Council (UNSC) meeting held in New York on Thursday (January 5) on the situation in the Middle East: (Syria – Chemical).
