Pakistan Eyeing More Cooperation with Iran

Bhutto Zardari made the remarks in a meeting with Iranian President’s Special Envoy for Afghanistan Hassan Kazzemi Qomi in Islamabad.

The Pakistani foreign minister said that Islamabad is committed to a peaceful, stable, prosperous, and connected Afghanistan.

The top Pakistani diplomat also reiterated the importance of continued constructive engagement and practical cooperation with the interim Afghan government in order to promote sustainable peace and security in the region.
