SIGAR investigates cash transfers to Afghanistan

The Office of the US Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction “SIGAR” says that the Biden administration is blocking the investigation of the money that has been sent to Afghanistan under the name of humanitarian aid in the past year.

According to the Bloomberg report SIGAR said they wanted to investigate the $1.1 billion in cash aid sent to Afghanistan’s central bank over the past year.
