Taiwan sees German visit as a sign of support

Taiwan sees the ongoing visit by a Bundestag delegation as a sign of Germany’s strong support for the island’s democratic republic.

At a meeting with the six lawmakers from all parliamentary groups, Foreign Minister Joseph Wu said Taiwan wants to deepen cooperation with Germany and work together to safeguard peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait and the Indo-Pacific region.
