Turkey agrees to pay for Russian gas in rubles

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has pledged to boost trade with Moscow, saying Ankara is ready to pay for part of Russian gas in rubles.

Erdogan made the remarks following a four-hour meeting on Friday with Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which the two sides agreed to increase cooperation in the transportation, agriculture, finance and construction industries.
