Yemen facing medicine shortages due to Saudi blockade

Yemen is facing an acute shortage of medical supplies as the Saudi-led coalition is impeding all sorts of imports by continuing its blockade on the country.

The Yemeni Ministry of Health and Population held a press conference in Sana’a to highlight the impact of the continued Saudi siege on the national drug supply program. The event took place amid a severe shortage of necessary medication in the war-torn country.
